- 1:00 pm – Royal Procession: The Royal procession departs from Noordeinde Palace to the Royal Theatre.

- Around 2:00 pm – Balcony Appearance: Following the Speech from the Throne, the Royal party makes its way back to Noordeinde Palace, where they appear on the balcony to acknowledge the cheers of the public.
- 3:00 pm – Budget Presentation: The Minister of Finance presents the briefcase containing the Budget Memorandum and National Budget to the House of Representatives.
